Just spent the day at Riding Into History 2013. I even went as far as entering my modified R65LS into the Concours d'Elegance. Wasn't expecting to win anything but it cost nothing to enter, got me into the event for free (take note Monte) and got me 2+ hours of photo taking time before the general public started making picture taking a chore.
Got my bike displayed in the correct area and found a nice shady area to setup my chair and lunch cooler. Then I started walking around taking pictures and talking to people. What a collection of bikes! And really cool people. Got back to my shady chair and found the folks from Dime City Cycles had set up a vendor tent right there. Neat bunch of young guys and spent the day talking cafe'd bikes with them.
There was almost every type of bike you can imagine, American, Japanese, British and European. Lots of airhead as the event is organized by the BMW Owners of NE FL club. There was a large collection of bikes and riders from this years Cannonball as well as a collection of wining race bikes from the days of racing on the beach at Daytona.
Even a collection of vintage push bikes.
Here is one pic as a teaser. There are to many to post here but here is a link to flickr.
