I didn’t get out on a run this weekend so to give you feel for Cheshire, England I took some pictures on the way to work this morning plus a couple from one of my pastimes which is visiting Cheshire’s old houses. They wouldn’t always let me park the bike in front of them though.
First me with the flag at 7.30 on a sunny Monday morning. I’d look more cheerful if I wasn’t going to work.

2nd is the oldest house in my village a Jacobean timber-framed building dating back to about 1448, It was originally a Priest’s House and gave it’s name to the village.

3rd is a place we had a ride out to last weekend, Little Moreton Hall a well preserved old Cheshire farm house dating from 1450 and occupied by the same family for 5 centuries

Last, a few weeks ago we visited Lyme hall just over the border in Derbyshire. I’ve included it because some of you may have seen it before as Mr Darcy’s house 'Pemberley' in the BBC production of the Jane Austen novel Pride and Prejudice.
