Thanks; yes, the original link "Large Village Landmarks of Alberta, Chapter 1" I wanted to replace with the tumblr account.

I'll keep that in mind when I post my next trip report.

I watch Last of the Summer Wine all the time, and it hardly ever rains in Yorkshire.  It's as green as western Oregon but without the 9 months of rain.  

(I know, you get 12 instead.  But your winters are better than ours.)

We can't complain so far this autumn.  Last time I used the car for work was 5th October and I've never really got wet other than a few spots.

But we will Barry, it will be drought warnings next and then when the rain does come, it will be the wrong kind of rain!

I spoke to a supplier of mine in Texas yesterday, he has his a/c on in the house and is worried about getting sunburnt on thanksgiving day! it just would so nice to have warmer weather when we should have it as opposed to whatever the day brings...

Chris i heard on the news today that drought orders are being prepared for East Anglia, my Clematis and Geraniums are flowering again, this time last year it was -22c i was gardening in my "T" shirt yesterday.I dont know whether to listen for Santa's sleigh bells or Cuckoos
