Hoover dam
« on: January 23, 2011, 06:39:08 PM »
It was in the 60's here in the great satan's den of iniquity known to all as las vegas.I took my R 65 across hoover dam to the arizona side and back.
They have a new bridge that spans the gorge downstream from the dam and it is a thousand feet above the water of the colorado river.it carry's the interstate to arizona instead of having the bottleneck of the dam traffic.

The new bridge was quite a challenging engineering feat - I know that I'd REALLY hate to accidentally drive off the edge! [smiley=shocked.gif]
