Now that I have the pictures up I'd better identify everyone.
From left to right:
The 1st gentleman has an R65 was there with his son. I can't remember his name, but he did sign the flag and now I'm trying to read it. I think it is Bob Wakima (sp?) and he has a black 83 R65.
#2 is Jerry Bauer and he has an '83 R65 GS (that's right, GS!!) - "Professor Fate". I'll post pictures on another thread. I believe he said he has been on the forum.
#3 is Dave Seip - R65 Lust! He has the 81 R56LS that he's still working on.
#4 is Ed Miller - He's got the 81 R65 with the Windjammer.
#5 is me! 8-) Melena, my Black 83 R65 LilBee.
#6 is Jim Kamp from Canada. He's got 1 of 3 R45's in Canada that he's named "piglet"! He and Dee were glad to meet up. Sue, he said he's met you. Small world isn't it?
#7 is Dee with the 78 R45 in Washington State.
I think I've got everyone down now. What an interesting rally. And what fun getting together with all the R65 and R45 owners. I can't believe I did it. People would come up and start talking about my bike and then I'd find out they had one too. I think there might have been a few others I talked with that didn't make it on Saturday. I met so many people it's hard to remember now.
And how wonderful to meet the folks from here on the forum.
