FYI - the original R65s didn't have the rear (or front) fender pinstriped.

And the rear was flat black, while the front was painted the color of the tank and side covers.

Rob, that's good to know.  My bike has been painted then... not sure even what it's original color was.  But everything is gloss black with white pinstripes... both fenders, side covers (don't have the r65 stickers either), tank, and the piece behind the seat.  So I'd like to keep it all matched. :)

Yeah, I think that is what is called "imprinting".  Totally understandable.


That is how I came to love my Bronco brown.  And a few other things in life! ;)
