Dirk, I have GOT to get my sorry butt over there and see some of the things you ride by all the time!  Superb photography!    [smiley=thumbsup.gif]

Just out of curiosity, what kind of digital camera are you using?

This restored, 120 years old farm in northern Germany should cost 125.000,-EUR (165.000 USD).

Is this average cost of these type of houses?

If so - look out Germany - I'm a comin' over...

The trees slowly gets green leaves. But where we have been today, there are no trees. The modern port of Hamburg has shifted to the outlying districts during the last years. Huge container terminals habe grown there. In the old port in the cebtre of Hamburg many docks will now no longer be used. There are very beautiful industrial ruins.

Have fun

Dirk

:D Wow!  Now all I need to know is who took it from my bathtub...

Oh yeah, great pictures as usual Dirk!  I'm a fan of graveyards as well.  That one was amazing.  Thanks for sharing.

A very moving portrait of those grave sites Scott....thank you. All of your pictures are so beautiful that I do want to go there! Maybe I could even afford a farm house and leave the big snows behind??

Wow Aïda is your bathtub that big....ever get lost???

Aïda and Sue,
I am pleased that you like my pictures. I was not sure whether it is good to show photos of the graves of soldiers. I'm still not sure. Finally, it is a motorcycle forum.

On German television there documentaris to be shown every week about Germans who emigrate to Canada. I think this direction is more prevalent. ;)

Maybe I can persuade my wife to pay a visit to our grandson, and then ride down south to see the Lüneburger Heide. It is one of the places I've always wanted to see again - I was there more than 40 years ago.

Your photos are outstanding.

greetings from a rainy and gray north

Thank you, Trolle.

You are always welcome. It´s not far from Hjørring to Hamburg.

We´ve already had guests from the Netherlands and Greece who came on their Beemers. But still no vikings, yet.  ;)So feel free to contact me if you want to come to "Heidi"  :)
