Kawasaki just had a motopress rider's release for their 2013 Ninja 300. Say what?

With Honda releasing their very competitively priced 250cc to go head-to-head with the Ninja 250, the Kwacker 300, goes at a list price of $4799. The lightweight canyon carver wars may get quite warm over the next few months.

The Ninja 300 has just been launched in the UK but no prices yet. At 39HP it should be popular given the European relaxation of the learner limit from 33 to 47HP.  A German tester saw an indicated 112mph.

The new 300 Nija is probably way to fast for this ol' geezer. But I certainly wouldn't mind tossing it through a few of the curves down in the Texas Hill Country. The Three Twisted Sisters come to mind...
