http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DgGKPaDQt7ABit of history on the single duke, the bloke we bought it off had it since the early 70's (its a 1968 model), my father has known him since the late 60's, they worked together for 20+ yrs until he sadly passed away in the late 90's. My father remembers the bike when he's work mate first bought it as he used to ride it everyday to work. Then some time around the late 70's he took it off the road & stripped it down, but sadly he did't put it back together again, so it just sat in his garage in boxes until he passed away & his wife asked my father if he wanted it, dad rang me & i told him i'll go half's with you so we bought it....So we have it since the late 90's
, dad rebuilt the engine etc, sprayed the frame etc, roughly put it back in to fire her up as it has't been started up since the late 70's. It fired up a few times but then nothing, nothing at all, no spark, changed this changed that
, after a while we got side tracked (dad retired & went traveling around the country side again & again), so again the duke sat there for many yrs until i finaly had enough & told him WHATS HAPPENING WITH THE DUCATI lets get it going. So now the frame etc has to be repainted again, we have ordered many parts from overseas so the ball is rolling & just the other day we fired her up again, so i hope you like the vid

btw we did start it up an hour or so before i shot this vid, so its not really its first start up since the 90's, but you know what i mean
