An interesting ride to work

Went to work late today all suited up in my gear... boots, pants, gloves, jacket, helmet... feeling very well armored.  I had closed the vents on my jacket the other night, so I ended up unzipping the thing a few inches to get some air on my chest.  Coming down a cloverleaf exit I felt a little impact and then a burning sensation.

Turns out I had rear ended a honeybee with the top of my sternum.  He was wtill squirming to his death in my bellybutton ten miles down the road when I got to work and was able to untuck my shirt and brush him away... but not before I got passed by these @$$holes, along with some of RI's finest

One of the most painful bee stings I ever got was when I hit one while riding my motorcycle at about 50 MPH - it impacted me stinger-first right in that little notch at the base of my throat dead center between the clavicles.     That big red welt didn't disappear for over a week.  That was 30 years ago -  I keep my jacket zipped up ever since!

I was once driving to the French Riviera, hot day windows down just my shorts on when a large Kamakaze bumble bee hit the wing mirror and dropped into my crotch..... my wife still laughs about my screams as i reacted trying to stop the car and protect my jewels at the same time no other road users were injured in the resulting manouvers.But saddly the Bee did not survive........
We had a gang of car theives busted not long back they had slotted a Lambogini engine into an Audi RS5 saloon for a gettaway car and to date hold the land speed record for car chases in the UK.
