I noticed on the "Harley Truth" thread Monte mentioned he flew one he made earlier.My uncle Jack had a small petrol station + car service garage, he was a keen aviator and built a 2 seater plane in his garage.
when it was ready for its inaugural flight he asked my dad John if he would go with him to which he agreed.
After they taxied out on to the runway and my dad enquired what the peice of 4"x2" wood between them was for.......
Jacks reply......thats the brake John..............what a hoot.
