Today Christmas is over

I like Christmas day alright, its the weeks leading up to it I could do with out.

Is it just me or now it's over is one of the best things about Christmas that it doesn't happen again for another whole year ?

It'll all start again soon enough. Remember Tom Lehrer's old song about the commercialization of Christmas? --
On Christmas day you can't get sore
Your fellow man you must adore
There's time to rob him all the more
The other three hundred and sixty-four!

Positive note for all us North of the Equator...the days are now getting visibly longer and that extra light sure helps the mood!!!!
Before Christmas here there is a tendency to think there is plenty of time to get at the little jobs on the bike...putting on the new farkles etc. But now, one can get feeling pressured to get it all done!! And order MORE!!!!

We live in Grey County, ON and it IS grey! Caused by the adjacent huge Lake Huron which hasn't frozen over and supplying a ton of moisture for the formation of clouds. Clouds get overstuffed with moisture and start dripping on us, either rain or snow!!! Lack of sun can be depressing! So I'm always thinking bikes and now practising piano like mad to prepare for my piano accompaniment course next August at the Gaelic College in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia. Of course there is another excuse to RIDE there, right through the gorgeous New England States. Look out nhmaf!!!
1983 R65LS - LRB still my favourite!? 1988 Honda NX250, "Toodles Too" and a Suzuki DR650, "Calypso." All stored in the "Brrrmmm Closet".

I've got soooooo many motorcycle "to-dos" that need to get "to-done", now!     I wish that I had spent the extra $$ and time this summer getting a propane heater hooked up in the garage - it has been too chilly to spend much time out there lately, and the electric heater that is there - well, let's just say it can make the wheel on my wattmeter spin like a 78 RPM record!
