Navy brat
« on: July 16, 2010, 02:22:19 PM »
My nephew, Kyle Miller, grew up here in Denton, Texas, graduated the MMA, received a Navy reserve commission, graduated the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences in Bethesda, Maryland, is stationed at NAS Whidbey Island as a squadron flight surgeon and just returned from a little vacation in the sandbox.

We recently joined Kyle, his wife Jessica -also a Navy Flight Surgeon who has her alert warning for a deployment- and their new 7-month old son, Gavin, for a welcome home party with family and friends.

Naturally, Great Uncle Monte wanted the little sailor to get started on the right foot, beverage-wise. You betcha, it's brewed in Texas!

Our Soldier son, SFC Zachary Miller, is a sixteen-year veteran and recently earned his jump wings. Zach is the leading NCO of the Sniper Section, 1st Battalion (Airborne) 143rd Infantry Regiment and has a 15 October 2010 date at Ranger School, Ft Benning GA.

Both Zach and Kyle were varsity goalies on their high school soccer teams. They speak fluent World Cup.

Monte, Mrs. Phorqs thinks that you are getting an early start at training that boy to become an Aggie.  Whoop!
