Hooray for the 2d Amendment!!!

The high-court finally did something right and affirmed that the right to keep and bear arms is an individual right as the framers had intended.  The scary part is that it was a 5-4 decision, only one liberal judge away from granting the rabid anti-gunners carte blanche.   People often forget when electing a president that his appointments to the Supreme Court will have far more impact on our quality of life than anything he can do on his own.  I fear we are just one Obama court appointment away from bad things, if he gets elected...    The full text of the opinion can be found here in PDF format:

I don't expect it to change things one way or the other, but perhaps it may close some of the arguments that the HCI folks keep bringing up.
I'll have to make up some new target loads and head to the range to celebrate my reaffirmed individual rights.

Today, I'll quietly celebrate this US Supreme Court decision by legally carrying one of my larger handguns as I go about my normal activities. My wife and I both have our Texas Concealed Handgun License (CHL) and we exercise our Second Amendment RIGHTS!
