After 3 years of happy working and riding my R65, I made the difficult decision to sell her this week. Thanks to all on the forum for the invaluable help friendship and advice. Time for a new project!

I dunno, I can tell you from experience that after wrenching on a late-model Oilhead for a while you will develop very find memories of your Airhead!  I often wish I had kept my '95 R100RT and not gotten the R1150 RTP.  But, a couple of miles on the freeway causes me to cut it some slack!

Thanks Chris, staying in Ireland and happily gone to a collector (has 14 vintage and classics) in the East of the country.
She is of course originally a UK bike. BMW motorcycles were not officially imported here until the late 90's I believe, so most earlier bikes are UK imports.
