Ken, I ordered everything from Moto-Bins (
www.motobins.com), although they are in England and the shipping is a few bux they were still cheaper in the long run. The bearings are common and were available locally, but Moto-Bins still had the best price.
Getting the back cover off wasn't too bad. I was able to put to use the Harbor Freight heat gun I bought and along with some tapping and wiggling, it came right off. Tools? The sky's the limit on that one!

I made a bearing shimming plate, a puller for the output flange, and a couple specially sized "seal installers". You will also need the aforementioned heat gun and a bearing puller. A 0-1" micrometer and a 0-1" depth mic are nice but I suppose a digital or dial caliper would suffice.
If you do a search over the past month you should find some posts with pix I put up.
