n00b saying "Hi"

As per Justin B., my first post is here.

I'm a long time BMW owner, 300K miles and 29 yrs. and counting.

Have a couple of G/S's, a mono R80 and a newly accquired, "barn fresh" R65LS, with 8,675 miles on the odo.

I spend a bit of time at advrider and occassionally pop in on "Rounders" forum.

hope to meet a few of you "on the road".

regards,
               deerslayR aka "Doug"  ;D

That bike looks nice.  Welcome aboard!  When I saw your handle I thought you were an Airhead from Grants Pass, Oregon, but Deerslayer is his bike, not him.

Have fun,

Nice find that LS! Looks like mine when I got it, Nacelle [also referred to by someone here as the Hans Muth Speed Plow] hacked off, US bars and are those dual ATE calipers up front? Any bags for those racks? Mine's an '82 with the dual ATE's What year is it?

Yup, dual ATE's. Got the bags with standard, built in cracks at the lid latches.  :)

It's an '82.

Looks better in the picture than in person.

I'm in south Jersey near Millville. Thunderbolt Raceway is only 15 miles away. I want a track bike. ;D
