Ride to Astoria
« on: November 02, 2017, 11:19:51 PM »
I took a ride to Astoria earlier this month. It started out kind of wet but dried out as we got closer to the coast.

I don't mind so much getting caught in the rain if I am already riding and the temps are moderate. I hate leaving a dry garage out into the rain.
Keep your bike in good repair: motorcycle boots are not comfortable for walking.

The camera is a black gopro and it is mounted to my helmet with a gopro mount. I control it with my phone but my experience with gopros is that they work great when they work but there is a real learning curve to getting good with them. I have heard from friends that Sony makes similar cams that are a lot easier to use.
