Grandson's first solo
« on: July 02, 2016, 06:50:31 AM »
Grandson and granddaughter visiting this week, up from Austin, Texas. Previously, I have the lad on motorcycle rides with me; riding BMWs and the Triumph Trophy. He has grown tall enough to flat-foot the SunL scooter so this visit was a planned solo ride.

Geared up and a few casual pointers and he was off. The CV transmission made it easier for him. We worked on throttle control and how to eliminate the old bugaboo of target fixation. Successful outing. More lessons to follow.

Classroom time over. Time to move out on the range.
