After a shaky start I finally have all the quirks sorted out with my R65LS/sidecar rig and enough miles under my belt to comfortably drive it anywhere I want to go.
I makes a great grocery getter and I use it to do my shopping if the weather is nice. I have even taken it to the home improvement store and loaded lumber into the footwell and sticking out over the luggage rack. You can not be anonymous riding something like this and no matter where it goes I always have to answer questions.
But I can't talk anyone into going for a ride. I mean an adult. Every time I take it out every child in the neighborhood comes running yelling, "Take me for a ride!". They have all been ridden around the neighborhood. Every adult that sees it says they like it but when I offer a ride they all say no. I don't get it.
Finally! My daughter came home from Colorado for a visit and said "Sure, I'll go for a ride". It's kind of fun to be able to look over and talk to someone while you are riding. Well more like yell to someone while riding.
