Hi
From Australian Capital Territory (ACT) in Australia. Been riding bikes since I was a kid (a long time ago) and have owned a 1984 R65LS since new. Now also own a R1150RT, 1974 Ducati 450 Mk III (project) and 1956 BSA B33 (in a thousand pieces) as well as a scooter somewhere. Would like a new R1200RT but unfortunately also own a wife who works in casualty.  :'(
Not sure how I rode the R65LS for so long (vibration, no brakes, wind in the chest) but still love it. Mine is fairly stock standard still except for Staintune pipes and better rear suspension. Just had it resprayed and just need to get new disc rotors to get back to scratch. Prefer the original look to modding bikes. Will post some photo's later.
Great forum and enjoy reading all the posts as well as all the technical info.
 :)
