Nice Norton ...

Had an entertaining, and eventful (for the wrong reasons) afternoon at Squires. It was packed out but not many "Old" bikes in except this outstanding Norton Café Racer, the afternoon was going well until 2 Muppets racing on rice burners decided to ram the bridge wall at speed... hey ho will they ever learn.

Sunny 17.8 Deg C here abouts so huge number of bikes on the road today. For many it will be the first ride for many months. They'll get the hang of it after a bit of practice.

The sun has definitely brought the bikes out!

I saw some real idiots out yesterday on the way to see friends in Manchester, there was a bad crash on the Snake Pass which led to it being closed, bet it was a biker.

Driving down to & from London last week, I saw about 6 bikers on the M1 acting like complete idiots, undertaking and weaving through heavy traffic at high speed.

One guy on a big Honda sports bike was riding less than 5 feet behind a middle laner (I know I hate those people too!) at 70 mph with one hand on his hip and lights full-on, when the person didn't move, he raced past on the inside between this and another car giving them the one finger salute whilst accelerating away into the distance.

No wonder bikers have such a bad rep...
