R65LS Windscreen
« on: April 30, 2012, 05:46:25 PM »
Found an interesting small windscreen for an LS while looking for something else.  http://www.laminarlip.com/r65sl.php

I have a Laminar Lip windscreen extension on my K75s and it works great. Shaped like an inverted airfoil and it accelerates the airflow up and over the rider.
Keep your bike in good repair: motorcycle boots are not comfortable for walking.

They even have a small fairing/windscreen that would probably work well on a standard R65.  http://www.laminarlip.com/lamini.php

I actually got that laminar lip for the R65LS but I used it differently by heat adjusting it to fit atop both my National Cycle Deflector screen and the Streetshield models. Works a charm. Have Lip will travel!
1983 R65LS - LRB still my favourite!? 1988 Honda NX250, "Toodles Too" and a Suzuki DR650, "Calypso." All stored in the "Brrrmmm Closet".
