Y'all are all sick. Don'cha know what Easter's really about?

Retailers remind us the day revolves around scoring all the dark chocolate candy before the kids find it :D Yesterday, Lynn and I got two of our young granddaughters totally amped up on sugar before we dropped 'em off at the other grand parent's house. I should probably be just a little sorry...

Ride safe.     Monte

Well, for me, it's traditional Easter hasenpfeffer .  ::)

But if you get stuck with an over abundance of hard boiled eggs, and are sick of them, try pickling them, makes them last another month or so .

Hasenpfeffer?   :D  My dad used to make this.  But he probably only made it once after he married my mom, and before I was born.  My mom wouldn't let him make it any more.   ;D  I'm sure it was an old family recipe.  They were from good German stock and had settled in Anaheim.  My dad hunted rabbits..............well, jack rabbits down there in Southern California.

But I do like pickled eggs.  Never  have enough left over to pickle them though.  I always make deviled eggs.  Yummm.

We went to Crocodylus, crocodile research farm come tourist park.
They had been advertising an easter egg hunt with crocodile eggs and my 4 year old son had been nagging for a week to go.

We found 4 crocodile eggs (they had been blown so were hollow) of which the two kids painted and we kept the other two plain.

Went crocodile fishing, this is a bridge above the pens, they give you a chicken chop on a line tied to a broom handle, and the crocodile snap at it. If you do it right you get about 5 bites before the croc gets the meat. A 5 metre croc makes one loud clunk when smashing his jaws together.

We paid for a yearly pass so we take the kids back and threaten to feed them to the crocs a few times a year.

Kids also got to hold a few small crocs.

A good easter day out I must say.
