If memory serves, one of the early Honda Wings had an ammonia-based AC system. Anyone else recall this?   Monte

Keeping cool on a bike's no joke. I sold a bike I'd always wanted because of a serious heat-related design flaw - the BMW K1.

Loved everything about the bike, but once slowed by traffic after a high-speed run the coolant fan blew the already hot air from the rad over the exhaust and it all exited up through a four inch aperture aimed at the top of your left thigh.

If that bike had AC I'd probably have kept it...
