Tractor supply stores - sprouting like mushrooms
« on: September 05, 2008, 11:11:53 PM »
So we've been without any the growing chain of Tractor Supply Company stores up here in New Hampshire for years, and now, we have one new store opening 25 miles northwest of our home, and another now being built 15 miles southeast of our home. I don't know why they're building (2) in such relative proximity - we don't have 1/5 of the farms around here that we used to, and one tractor dealership which had recently expanded its business in the same areas recently closed the newer business that is just a few miles from where the new TSC store is being built.   Hmmm.   I suppose someone knows something about the economy that I don't know !

Tractor Supply's motto is, "For the Stuff You Need Out There". The store in my village carries tools, pet and large animal supplies, clothing, toys, hardware, power tools, petro products... I love it.

Their store-brand Schmidt line of heavy cotton long-sleeve shirts are great at $15.00. I have a closet full for riding the beemer or working on our tiny ranch in Montague County.

Check 'em out. The place will have a very "ranch-farm" aroma when you walk in. Enjoy.

I really like our TSC stores and one I found in MI I liked even more. Great places for hardy clothes.  They have been here for awhile and sprouting as you say!!!
