New BMW Enduro Bike
« on: July 08, 2008, 01:38:43 PM »
I was looking at Craigslist, and saw an ad for a BMW G 450 X, enduro bike.

The BMW site doesn't have much info on this bike.

Looks like a single cylinder water cooled engine.

Finally BMW is breaking out into a new market, that will bring more interest in their bikes.

With the current escalation in costs of fuel around the world these days, maybe they will see a need for smaller entry level bikes in the 450-500 cc range.

Riding all year long since 1993 .
I'll give up my R65, when they pry my cold dead hands from the handlebars !!!!!

...And made in China to boot!

No longer does Aprilla build motors and co-op construction with BMW on the G-series "pseudo BMWs".  They'll be in your local Pep Boys showroom soon... right alongside the Honda clone-powered Chinese putt-putts.

Stick with your airhead boxers, boys n' girls. Their values just went up.
