somewhere around the house I have an engineering journal with a road test report on this - will have to dig around....
I like the idea, but I gotta say, I think that they can do better with how this thing is styled - it looks alot like my mountain bike
with some plastic panels stuck on. I realize the desire to keep it slim and light, but I don't think that I could be seen riding this
thing with my helmet and mesh-tex jacket and leathers.
I also found a report on the Vectrix all electric scooter, but in spite of that fact that it can go up to 60 mph and has a
maximum range of about 50 miles or so, it is (and looks like) a scooter, and we all know how much some of us like
scooters....
Bloody thing cost $12K, too, so it is no wonder that Kalifornya is planning to offer up to $1500 rebates to its poor
downtrodden citizens for buying one.
