Hello All,  As of this afternoon, I am the proud owner of an '83 R65ls.  I own a '68 BSA Starfire 250 but it's been in the garage for a while.  When I saw this r65, I had to have it.  I teach electronics in a public school here on Long Island, NY, so if you have any electronic questions, maybe I can help.  I'll get up to speed on this bike as soon as I get my hand on a hardcopy of the manual.  I found this site for technical blowups of the bike, great site-I guess you guys are aware of it.

Well this looks like a great site, I hope to get to know some of you as I learn this machine.  I'll keep my eyes open to what's going on. I posted this as a reply to another bewbie's first post, sorry for the confusion!

Thanks,

Chris

Welcome Chris. I hope we can help and will hope you can help us when those electrical gremlins strike!
1983 R65LS - LRB still my favourite!? 1988 Honda NX250, "Toodles Too" and a Suzuki DR650, "Calypso." All stored in the "Brrrmmm Closet".
