Pannier Locks
« on: November 22, 2018, 01:00:00 AM »
Hi again - it seems thqt both of the pannier locks - those that attach the pannier to tghe frame - are either broken or not working too well.
.
Does anyone know were I might gert replcements that will fit the connecting bar shown in the photo below.
.
I have found 2 types on the web but I'm not sure i they can be used - any advice/help is much appreciated thanks
.
The buggers were working when I tested them on the bike a couple of months ago - now one is broken and the other very stiff to operate - a suitable silicon spray has not improved anything.

Not to worry chaps - it seems the Siebenrock unit is a direct replacement for the old style locks I had - so I'll just leave this here in case it helps someone else  ;) 8-)

Okay the locks have arrived but the instructions are in german - and for whatever reason - I can't figure out how to fit them.
.
So here's the instructions - if anyone would be able to tanslate for me - I can't find anything on the manufacturers website.
.
Thanks for any help ,,,,,,,,
