Forum search question
« on: July 17, 2016, 09:06:16 PM »
Hi,
At the moment I have a fork rebuild question as I noticed mine leaking some fluid on one side. When I search the forum I come up with very little pertinent info which I find hard to believe? Is there a more refined search or am I doing something wrong? I'm sure this has been covered. What I'm looking for is a overview of the rebuild process, expense, time, and difficulty of doing the job myself.
Thanks!
Raphael

I was mystified by my total lack of results searching this fantastic asylum as well Raphael, but have had more success since by changing 'This post was made in the last' field from 'week' to 'all posts' in the drop down box.  It takes a bit longer to come up with the results but should contain something you can look at.

When I search for Fork rebuild  (which means find posts with both words but not necessarily the exact phrase) I get 90 results.

Searching "All boards" and "All posts" takes along time so it can be quicker to restrict the search to the one board where you expect to find something  - in this case BMW Technical Q&A...
