Sometimes there is a swirling mass of kids and dogs around my cycle.............. Seems as if it might be prudent to get a heat shield for the exhaust system.  So................does anyone out there know a good source of heat shields? Anyone out there got one on their bike? Has anyone ever fabricated one for their bike?    Scotty

While at Mid-Ohio, hanging around the Boxerworks booth, I got to see Matt talk to a vendor that came around hawking his wares and talents.

I believe the curved header shields were a topic of conversation, as he had some straight ones for a British bike.  The biggest stopper was his minimum order, which was quite a bit higher than Matt could hope to sell.

I'll bet there is someplace in Europe that has them.  Just have to find them...

Word from Duane Ausherman is that they can interfere with cooling (the header shields).

The ones by the footpeg would not be a problem.

I often worry about my cat, but she seems so happy to see me home, I don't think she minds the heat...
