Omega Ignition Failure

Well the Omega Ignition has been on the R65 since 2006 but now it only works when I bend the circuit board a certain way.  Not what I would call reliable.

SO I invested in one of these this morning.

Has anybody else used this system?

I just put the omega system on last winter and this summer the dyna coil that came with it went to one cylinder and I had to replace it under warranty.  :-?  What circuit board are you talking about?  I have a electronic bean can and a newer ignition module.

I have a system from Germany.  Used to be sold in North America by Stephen Bottcher up in Canada.  I had a red circuit board that sits a top the Bosch Alternator.  

It is wonky.  I change it now to an American system.  The Germans are not talking...

I put the euromotoelectric system on my 1979 about a month ago.  Much better cold start behaviour now.  Installation was somewhat problematic in that I had to get creative fitting both the grey box and voltage regulator under the gas tank.  But the documentation was good.  And I've had no problems with it so far.  

Remember to get the non-R type spark plugs for it.

Yeah I saw this and I don't get it.  They say solid core wires and non-resistor plugs but then they allow NGK resistor caps.  So if caps are OK why are resistor plugs not?
