Non-Krauser case mounting
« on: May 14, 2013, 10:01:13 PM »
I've got pannier mounts and a seriously crappy pair of Krauser Starlet cases that are unusable due to leaks, bad latches, etc.

Meanwhile, there are a couple of beautiful Pelican cases sitting in my basement, collecting dust.

Wondering if anybody out there has found a way to mount Pelican (or other "flat-backed" cases) to their R65?

PS: I have the BMW mounts, not the Hepco Becker ones...

Cut the back out of the krausers and glue, bolt, rivet them to the pelicans?

Hello !
At one time Givi sold it's locks without panniers.
A lot of people did supports for various bikes and used Givi panniers  due to this.
Maybe it's still the case and you can adapt Givi locks onto the Pelican ?
