Protecting wheel after aqua blasting
« on: October 17, 2012, 03:52:00 PM »
Okay, so I have my wheels back from the aqua blast guy and they look amazing!
How do I keep them that way, I have some AFC (?) in a can, should I spray them with that to protect the finish?

Thanks

Chris

I would get them powdercoated or painted. It will fill all the imperfections that trap the dirt.
I had my wheels done in 2 pack automotive paint.
When I cracked a spoke I painted the replacement wheel with an enamel pressure pack. It's not as glossy as the professional job but I should give it another coat now that the weather is warming. It was too cold when I first painted it.
