Hi, Peter
I peeked. You, too, will find that the Cone Engineering site is aptly described in their company name. You buy the rolled, bent, cut, baffled, etc. raw pieces, then and weld them up yourself or have it done
outside. Then there's the matter of paint, chrome plating them or buying stainless and taking out a second to pay the welder.
Dave2 bought some sharp n' shiny muffs for his R65 from FlatRacer.
http://flatracer.com/I may follow his lead. The web site shows long attach brackets that can be trimmed and/or tweaked as needed to mate up with the R65 attach points... I think.
I assisted Bengt Phorqs in fitting a Dunstall-look pair to his Bonneville and they went on just fine. Mufflers come with an adaptor that will match up with the smaller pipes on our R65s.
I have a pair of stainless Dunstall look-a-likes by EPCO on my '81. They look and sound
really nice. Fortunately, I could buy them second hand. Brand new prices will bring a tear.
