I have been having trouble with my left carb sucking ATF - regardless of settings (since installing the newest engine).
I learned last weekend at a tech session that an imbalance in compression will cause this.

A compression tester is going to be my next purchase.

I always do a mechanical balance first using my patent "Knitting needle method"  which works so well there is no real possibility of fluid being sucked in to the engine and only very fine adjustments are needed to balance the manometer.
