1 into 3 ground wire connector?

Ok. I have yet another electrical ? for the R65 lovers like myself. As I have been wiring my new rear lights and finishing my seat I noticed the ground wire that splits 3 ways at the end of the rear lighting harness is basically worn out. Im actually surprised any of it worked at all as very few individual wires are still unbroken. I am trying to figure out the best way to redo this and am leaning towards a 4way solder with some marine heat shrink.  I am also thinking that I may want to make it removable, but am stumped on that. I love living in the marsh but sometimes the distance from hardware gets annoying.  Suggestions appreciated. Jeremy

When I installed the additional lighting at the rear of my '81 R65, I used a terminal block from Radio Shack .

The bikes original wires went onto  a terminal screw with a ring type crimp on terminal end, then I put ring type crimp on connectors on the ends of the wires going to the brake light, tail light .

If the wiring is shot, make up new wires, the longest should be no more than 12 inches or so .

I've shopped a bit with MikesXS. Primarily a Yamaha XS650 supplier -aka: the Japanese Bonneville- but I've found some BMW parts: NGK plug caps, ignition wires and electrical terminals. Check out his offerings.

Always good to be able to unplug and detach electrical components when service is needed or for better access to some dark and mysterious innards of the bike.

I was thinking terminal block as well, or a so called buss bar. Negative to one end and terminals off. I could even mount it to the frame for added stability. I was hoping to find a 3 way bullet type connector but I think such an animal does not exist. And yes, Ive been up since 3am trying to locate one on the interweb!
