The K100RS front end on the 1980 R65 is working quite well. It is rock steady all the way to 85 mph with the Luftmeister Fairing on the bike which is somthing of a moral victory. I just did a 1080 mile trip from Atlanta to Melbourne FL and back across a weekend and my only complaints are that under hard braking the handle bars push forward in their rubber mounts. And the turn radius is wider for the same amount of lean angle.
So I'm looking for something to tighten down the handle bars (harder nylon isolators?) and a trip to the North Georgia Mountains for some work in the twisties.
But sof ar so good. 8-)
