Do R65's only come with the BREMBO caliper? Trying to buy a rebuild kit.  Thanks.

Yours is probably a Brembo.  Couldn't say without a picture.  The name is usually cast into the side.  I know it is on my ATE, anyway.

It might not be a bad idea to go through the master cylinder, as well.
You can look at photos of me doing my '79 brakes on the WWW at the bottom of my posts.  They are different than what you have.

Rob is correct, at least on Brembos the name is plainly cast into the caliper.  Seems I do remember discussion here that somebody with a non-LS '82 had ATE calipers, though.

Sorry my question was fuzzy, i DO have a Brembo caliper.  I was looking for rebuild parts, I kept seeing ATE for the R65, not Brembo.  I was concerned that a previous owner swapped the stock ATE for the this Brembo, and buying a rebuild kit online for R65 would get me stock ATE parts instead.

Rob, my master cylinder + ss brakeline is a year old so I'm in good shape there.

Thanks guys.

Depending on the year and model it could be ATE or Brembo.  Both my r65s have dual disks.  The 82 had Brembos, and the 81 had ATE.  The rebuild kits are interchangable, as the calipers are copys between the manufacturers.
