R65 : Asymetric camshaft Opinions ?

Hello !
I'm slowly gathering all the parts needed to rebuild my engine.
Alas, Mr BMW in it's wisdom has decided to cease production of camshafts. And I'm late to buy the remaining stock....
But Mr Siebenrock has one said to be "Asymetrical" : https://www.siebenrock.com/en/engine-parts/engine-housing/3592/camshaft-asymmetric
I was wondering about the difference with the "plain" one and if someone has tried it and what are the benefits/drawback ?

Unless I missed it Siebenrock doesn't seem to provide the cam timing for comparison with your original 308 cam but they must have the data if you ask.  Asymmetric just means the cam doesn't open and close the valves at the same rate usually closing slower than opening.

asymmetric means that the angle from intake and exhaust is not the same. So we can use the maximum of spread.
In sum is it a 320° camshaft. You have about 7-10NM more torque and + ca. 3HP
