Hoover dam,las vegas

If you are touring and want to cross the dam you can only access the dam from the nevada side.the arizona side is blocked off and you have to cross the new bridge featuring awesome crosswinds and a view that you are afraid to look at, 1000' down to the colorado river.

I have a coworker that drove over the bridge when she helped move her daughter from Phoenix to Las Vegas .

From her description, there are tall walls on the bridge and you don't even know that you are so high from the river, at least from a passenger car, maybe a truck is a different story .

Personally, I'd be kinda scared to ride that bridge on a windy day, unless there were some substantial walls to keep from getting blown off the side!
