Well, I've been away for a few days...up a Willville again!  No bikes, this time, though - we were looking at property...

Yes, NC Steve, my bike is blue - rather teal.  I didn't/don't have a picture of mine, so I just borrowed one from the Lifan site.   That one is more like Graham's LF150.  He is trying to decide between the blue and the red.   ::)

Dani, as far as quality, it's a question that I myself have not answered just yet.  All I can tell you is the fit and finish is not 'top' quality, but it isn't bad either.  These particular bikes were not exactly treated with TLC over the past year, so they got a bad rap from the instructors trying to teach on them.  (The instructors were not exactly real mechanically minded and the bike would sit for days, weeks, sometime months without being started.)  Graham, my husband, has been spending the last couple of weeks tweaking on them to get them running smoothly and reliably.  I think they just needed some attention.  We've only had them a few weeks and we'll see.   I've been trying to get a new shock for mine, without much response from the distributor.  That doesn't seem to be a good sign at this point.  I'm not ready to bad mouth them just yet, but the jury is not in on the parts availability in my book.   :-X

These bikes supposedly will get about 100 mpg, so that is great news.  We haven't made it through a tank full yet, so I can't confirm that either.  I'll let you know one we've put a few more miles on these babies.

100 MPG sounds great - until you look at the top speed...
I don't think I want to get on the interstate highway (80% of my commute) with a 60 MPH top speed.  The "people" (I had another word in mind) that don't give a hoot about mileage or speed limits would run you over and never slow down.
