triumph tool
« on: June 15, 2008, 10:09:25 AM »
Looking for the Triumph tool for installing the lay shaft bearing in a '72 Daytona [ and most any other Triumph unit transmission]. There is a diagram of it in the manual but I don't have a lathe or the 1 1/4 bar stock to turn one. anyone have one to lend or an alternate method?

I didn't need to change the bearing when I had mine apart, so I never bought the tool.  These guys might have it:

no idea of price though.

Good luck,
