Lou, if you ever do get back to Texas we can take you to the places in Carter's book.  There is a Texas Forts Trail that covers a lot of what was Comancheria.  Plus the best dadgum steak you'll ever sink your teeth into at The Bee Hive restaurant in downtown Albany, TX.

I was in a Bass Pro Shops today and stopped by the shooting aisle.  Not a single handgun primer to be had in the store.  I inherited my brother in laws reloading set up and while I still have a lot of reloads, there are also hundreds of brass cases and lead bullets.  Just no primers.  How long can this dearth of primers go on???
