The lady was something else wasn't she. How about the way she pressed home the attack when the scooter went down - deserves a medal.

That Granny did a better job than your bobbies.   She deserves a medal, but if anything, I expect that she'll hear from the thief's barrister for a lawsuit against her for A&B and unlawful detention..

5 of the 6 have been arrested, i will put money on them already being "Known" to the police and yes i dare say that their Human Rights were violated by being attacked with a Handbag with only a sledge hammer for defense, One of those arrested is 39 years old the rest are in there 20,s.... if he was the "Mastermind" perhaps he should give up the day job.

I had the same thought.

Our bobbies would have closed the road though for a day or so. They used to be famous around the world ... now they are world class at closing roads.

And I hope she treats their lawyer with the same contempt as she did the thieves. The country would back a return to common sense.

Barry did you hear about the 2 cops who refused to respond to a 999 call from a woman who had been stabbed in her own home !!! they left it to an officer on his own 10 miles away who arrived at the scene and tackled the Knife wielding attacker
.Sadly the lady died who knows what would have happened if the two lazy donut munchers had gone straight away.

It does seem to be all or nothing with the Police these days.

How about the 1000 policeman who turned out to a protest at the Lib dem conference in Sheffield at a cost of £2million in tax payers money.

There was 1 policeman for every 5 protesters.

Bet they got to close a whole bunch of roads too.

Thanks Lou!  (I can't see videos at work these days, and by the time the weekend rolls around, I've forgotten about a lot of them).

Amazing how she was the only one doing anything about it until one or two were down on the ground.
Great photography until the photographer decided enough was enough and joined in.

Tough glass!  I think I would have figured out that it wouldn't have worked after one or two swings of the hammer, though.
