One of the places visited on last weekends outing was Wetton Mill in the appropriately named "Manifold Valley" less than a days ride from Nottingham (on a good horse)

Lots of local history thereabouts. A perfect hideout for RH and his merry men with caves hidden deep in what was forest in them days.
Steve was thinking about exploring the caves but thought a cuppa tea would be a better bet.
