I guess you'll be keeping that car!  My R65 doesn't do that well.  Well, maybe 46.

I plan on keeping it until it isn't economical to repair it anymore.

It's only got 107,000 miles (175,000 km.) on it, so it's no where near worn out !!!

And with living in the desert, rust is not even a remote issue.

I just wonder how much longer Honda will still stock parts for the car, I know they have to support the vehicle for 20 years after the production date, and that will be up in 2 years.

I also run 40 psi in the tires for long distance highway speed drives, and the car is rarely loaded down, so I'm sure that helps a lot.

I guess it depends on your definition of "economical to repair"
I drive a 1962 Valiant and it is way cheaper than our Toyota Kluger, and the Kluger's only cost is regular services.
It might cost a fraction more in petrol but parts are cheaper and there's less of them to go wrong.
Downside is I have to order parts from interstate and wait for them to arrive, but then the R65 is the same.

I think it would be more of an availability of parts, plastic and rubber parts would be my issue, as even though the car is garaged , the temperature in the garage is still around 105 F. (41 C.) for about 5 months out of the year.

Every time I perform maintenance on the car, some plastic or rubber component falls apart during the procedure with out fail.
