Disappearing Text

Every once in a while while posting comments, or drafting an email, I use the space bar, and the next letter is deleted, usually happens when I make a correction and are in the middle of the text, can't get it stop, until I leave the site and then come back .

Any idea what I'm doing to cause this, it's irritating when it happens, I don't know how to correct it, or what even caused it .

Possibly you've accidentally hit the Insert key.  This sometimes toggles whether your typing pushes stuff after it to the left or overwrites it.
