Hey, Tinkertoy, welcome to our little asylum. Your screen name reminded me of the way-back days of drag racing when there was a strong match-race car called "TinkerToy". Anyway...

IIRC, MAC mufflers produced a 2-1 system the the R65. They were definitely not neighborhood-friendly. FleaBay could be a resource.

Hi Tinkertoy. I ran a Luftmeister 2-1 exhaust on my R65 when I had it cafe'd. Sure it was loauder than stock but anything would be louder. The stock exhaust is so quiet I would scare pedestrians when I rolled up to a corner off throttle.

I thought it had a nice note and wasn't obnoxious. Also the end cap is removeable and it can be repacked with as much or as little sound dampening material as you like.

I converted my R65 into a sidecar tug and the cafe parts are riding a shelf in the garage. Getting a little too old and stiff to be laying across the top of the tank now.  :)

Let me know and they may find a new home.

Sorry Tinkertoy. I had one of those days at work today and didn't get a chance to respond. I will try and call you tomorrow.  Marc
